Waarom denk je dat je zo goed bij Cortazu past?
As a freelance landscape and travel photographer, I often find myself in difficult and extreme weather conditions. Cortazu had everything I needed to handle this: great high quality and long lasting outdoor gear. When I got my hardshell I was really impressed with the attention to details in the jacket built. Lastly, what rejoiced me in Cortazu is their sustainable mindset by using sustainable material for their gear.
Wat zijn jouw favoriete Cortazu-artikelen?
The Hardshell is my favorite Cortazu item. A must have for extreme windy/cold/rainy weather ! It keeps me dry and warm without being heavy, uncomfortable and unbreathable.
Wat trekt je aan in reizen en fotografie?
Exploring new landscapes, understanding different climats and ecosystems is surely what I love the most about traveling. To me, photography is the logical continuation of trying to capture what I feel when I discover a new exiting place.
Wat is je beste reisherinnering?
The best travel memory must be my winter travel to Iceland in february 2022. This is when I experienced the most extreme weather of my life. In one week we got hit by two big storms. During all the week, me and my partner had to rely almost only to a heated van, where we slept all nights. Some days, the weather was so brutal, all the roads were closed and driving in such conditions would have probably ended up in a flipped-over van!
But thanks to this weather, I was blessed to experience huge storm waves as well as an immaculate white landscape, which were both a pure joy to photography.
Unfortunately I didn't have a Cortazu jacket at the time. It would have made the trip a more confortable to handle!
