How it works

Tested by a lab we don't own

01. Define

We set the standard.
Before we make a fabric, we define exactly what it needs to do, from waterproofness and breathability to durability.

02. Test

An independent lab puts it to the test.
Every fabric is tested by an independent laboratory using recognized test methods. We don’t grade our own work.

03. Wear

Then we take it outside.
Mountain guides, skiers, and other outdoor experts wear-test our products in real conditions to find out how they perform beyond the lab.

04. Publish

We show you the results.
We publish the lab results and field-testing findings. If a fabric doesn’t meet our standard, it doesn’t earn the CT Lab mark.
