What is B Corp™?
As a B Corp–certified organisation, our business is independently assessed against rigorous environmental, social, and governance standards. This certification verifies that we meet high benchmarks for ethical conduct, sustainability, and accountability, and that our performance is regularly reviewed by a trusted third party.
Being a B Corp means we are committed to transparency and continuous improvement. We actively measure and report our impact, and we evolve our business practices to address emerging social and environmental challenges, ensuring our values align with the expectations of our customers, communities, and the wider world.
Cortazu as a B Corp™
To minimise the impact we have on the planet and reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible, we focus on technical innovation and recycled components.
To ensure our manufacturing is as ethical as it can possibly be, we focus on long term relationships with every stakeholder of the supply chain. We are highly selective with the partners we work with, which allows us to ensure the working conditions of workers are not just fair, but great.
Cortazu doesn't exist just to sell outerwear products. We're here to inspire people to create their own adventures while supporting the world around us.
We also partnered up with Justdiggit and started to cool down the planet. If we can warm up the earth, we can also cool it down. Our goal is to re-green 100 million square meters of land with our business.
What does it mean
To be a B Corp™?
As a Certified B Corporation, we’re proud to be part of a community of companies working together for change and taking part in collective action to advocate for a shared goal of a global economy that benefits people and the planet.
- There are now over 10,000 B Corps globally, which together provide over 1 million jobs (B Lab Global (2022) B Impact Assessment version 1.6).
- B Corps are 2.7 times more likely to perform policy advocacy for social and environmental standards by providing active staff time or financial support, compared to ordinary businesses (B Lab Global (2022) B Impact Assessment version 1.6).
