Ambassador | Alexis Audis

PRO SKIER | FRANCE

Stronger Together

Equipped by Cortazu

Alexis Audisio is a passionate Skier and self-proclaimed adrenaline hunter originally from France. He skis many disciplines but is predominantly a freestyle and off-piste enthusiast. He is best known for his gnarly air time and flips, the extreme tricks he hits look almost nonchalant with his laid back style. Seeing what he gets up to is really going to make you wish you were back on the slopes. Don't believe us? Check out his feed @alexisaud on Instagram.

Let’s get to know Alexis a little bit better by asking him some questions about himself, his skiing and why he’s working with Cortazu!

Why do you think you match with Cortazu so well?

The passion for outdoor sports, adventure and discovery! Another thing I like about Cortazu is that most of their products are made of recycled materials. If we want to continue having fun in our beautiful nature, we must protect it. In my opinion, it starts with changing our consumption habits choosing better eco-friendly products and alternatives.

What are your favorite Cortazu items?

I love the Mountain Hard Shell Jacket which is super light, convenient, and technical at the same time. You can wear it as-is for warm days, or combien it with a Cortazu mid-layer for colder days.

What attracts you to skiing?

The endless possibilities offered by this sport. Skiing encompasses so many disciplines at the same time: from racing to freestyle to freeride, it is always different and you can always improve in one domain or another, especially depending on snow conditions. On top of that, there are so many different mountains to explore and ride! It is always different and challenging, pushing you outside of your comfort zone.

What does your perfect day on the slopes look like?

A powder day with all my friends! An early start at 9 a.m., a quick lunch break and lots of fun. Since we grew up in the La Clusaz mountains, we know all the good spots and we can shred the fresh pow all day long. It may involve a bit of hiking and ski-touring, but it's always worth it. The perfect day always ends up with an après ski drinking mulled wine and watching the sunset.

Inspire us. What are your future goals with skiing?
Keep on improving, season after season! Learn new tricks, win some derby races, but most importantly: HAVE FUN AND STAY SAFE! I also would like to produce a short movie with my friends.
