Introduction
Otro Elements Expeditions is an initiative of Dutch medical doctor Raymond Landgraaf who moved to Italy to live there with his lovely family in 2012. For already more then 12 years together with a team of passionate mountain guides, locals and coaches he organizes back-to-basic expeditions and leadership trails in the Italian Alps, focusing on immersive experiences that allow participants to reconnect with nature and their own nature. These expeditions are all about leaving the rat race of modern life behind and stepping out of comfort zone to rediscover a simpler, more authentic way of living. Participants engage in activities like trekking in the rugged mountains, wood chopping, making fire, sleeping under the stars and there is a traditional Sweatlodge. All this can be enjoyed in the freedom from modern distractions like phones and luxury.

Activities vary from summer to winter and include skitouring,trekking, cold water and river bathing, meditation and yoga, sleeping under open skies, and gathering around a campfire for music and storytelling and undergoing a traditional sweatlodge ceremony. These experiences are designed for various groups, including men-only, mixed groups, youth, female only, medical doctors and even corporates.
