Product description

The Nunatak INS Ski Jacket combines 50.000 mm+ waterproof protection with windproof 3-layer Barrier CT Pro™ fabric to keep you protected while skiing and snowboarding. The face fabric is made from 100% recycled material and designed for long-lasting performance.

80g Featherless Sorona® insulation, made with 37% biobased renewable content, provides dependable warmth without unnecessary bulk. It dries quickly and continues to insulate even when damp.

Everything else is built around comfort and control on the mountain: armpit ventilation zippers help release excess heat, while a removable snow skirt, helmet-compatible adjustable hood, and five essential pockets give you practical protection when conditions change.

The Regular Fit leaves enough room for up to two layers underneath while giving you freedom to move.

Care & Wash

Washing
Wash at 30°C using a technical wash or normal liquid detergent. Rinse once. Never use fabric softener or powder detergent.

How often to wash
For regular use, wash every 4–8 weeks. Wash sooner after heavy sweating, dirt build-up, or when water stops beading.

After light use
You don’t need to wash your jacket after every wear. Air it out and allow it to dry completely.

Drying
Tumble-dry on low heat, up to 30°C, for approximately 20 minutes. Always check the garment’s care label first.

Restoring water repellency
If water no longer beads after washing and drying, reapply a suitable PFC-free DWR treatment. Use a spray-on treatment for high-wear areas or a suitable wash-in treatment for the entire garment.

Activating DWR
After applying DWR, use low heat according to the treatment instructions to activate the finish.

Storage
Always store your jacket clean and completely dry, preferably hanging loosely. Avoid storing it damp or tightly folded for long periods.

Protecting your jacket
Keep it away from harsh chemicals, sharp objects, scratches, cuts, and prolonged strong sunlight.

Regular cleaning helps prevent sweat, body oils, and dirt from reducing breathability and water-repellent performance.
